Nuala's Bath Chinese inks 23 carat gold and metallic pigments on canvas

As kids, one Summer we wrote messages each day in huge letters on the beach at Lahinch.'VINCENT HAD A BATH TODAY' 'Niall had a bath today' 'Sheena had a bath today' and people walking the prom would stop and read them out loud, watched by us from the house. Then 'Nuala didn't have a bath today' THEN 'Nuala didn't have a bath YET!'.

A loud knock on the front door. "Are you Nuala?" demanded a huge red faced man. "No" I replied.

"Well tell Nuala if she doesn't have a bath today I'm coming in to wash her myself!"

This painting is to entice Nuala to finally have her bath.
