Seville Orange Time!!

There is something wonderful about the deep orange fruit, intense flavour and that fact they appear at this time of year

This year INSTEAD OF MAKING MARMALADE, 

 I saved the juice for another time and made crystallised cups of peel - gorgeous to nibble a tangy sliver  with coffee

SYNCHRONICITY; Left to dry, I noticed the crystallised orange cups were in front of an etching I made way back in Winter 1995, at the Black Church Print Studios, Temple Bar in Dublin.   I 'm just drawn to the shape and colour and flavour of the Seville Oranges at this time of year.
