Today really felt like the start of winter to me. A friend is still sea swimming, (no wet suit) and told me today they swam between hail showers- not for the faint hearted.
My last time by the sea was at the end of September when I witnessed an amazing sunset at Lahinch Beach, Liscannor Bay, Co. Clare. The whole scene- sky, sea, land and beach turned rose gold – a wonderful end to a magnificent day, a fabulous start to a magical evening. It inspired a series of paintings; three are part of the Enable Ireland Fundraiser ‘The Wild Atlantic Way’ next month.
